Kennedy Scores Third Consecutive Win at Park Jefferson Speedway!

Jefferson, SD (April 24, 2017) – Thomas Kennedy returned to victory lane Saturday night with a clean sweep of the Nebraska 360s/MSTS 360s event at Park Jefferson Speedway. The win marked Kennedy’s third win of the season; all in Nebraska 360 competition.

After taking the lead on lap three of the final heat race, Kennedy endured a late caution to take the win over T.J. Artz, Kevin Flowers.

Kennedy then lined up eighth for the 25-lap Speedway Motors presented by Malvern Bank A-main. It took just two laps for the driver of the Kennedy Floorings/Mach 1 Chassis No. 21K to move into the fourth position.

On the next circuit, second place runner Dusty Ballinger suffered mechanical woes, which forced him pitside. Meanwhile, Kennedy simultaneously drove around the outside of Lee Grosz to pick up two spots and move into second.

Leader Jason Martin had a full straightaway advantage over Kennedy, but the Winnipeg, MB runner quickly caught Martin in lapped traffic. On lap 10, Kennedy took the lead and drove away from the field before building up a half lap lead over second.

Kennedy went on to score his third win in a row and third consecutive $200 Speedway Motors Hard Charger award.

Kennedy currently holds an 82 point lead over Lee Grosz atop the Nebraska 360s point standings.
