Thomas Kennedy Looks to Tackle I-80 Speedway at the Bugeater Bash

GREENWOOD, Neb. (April 6, 2017) – Thomas Kennedy will be back in action this weekend for a pair of shows at I-80 Speedway with the Nebraska 360 Sprints. The two-day Bugeater Bash will mark Kennedy’s sixth and seventh races of the season, and his first time back at the fast four-tenths mile dirt oval since the 2016 ASCS Fall Brawl.

In his last appearance at I-80 Speedway, where he piloted the Buffalo Wild Wings No. 82, Kennedy raced to a second place run in his heat before closing the night fourth in the main event. Kennedy will be looking to build upon last October’s solid run this Friday and Saturday night and pick up his first win of the 2017 season.

Last weekend, Kennedy was back in action in the state of Florida with the USCS Sprints at Bubba Raceway Park. Kennedy picked up right where he left off at East Bay a few weeks prior as he raced to a runner-up finish in his heat. In the main event, Kennedy was just as strong as he brought the No. 21K home in the second position behind hometown driver, Tyler Clem.
