Brad Seng Nets Podium Finish at River Cities!
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 28) – Last Friday night Brad Seng and his Schill Construction / Forks Mobile Wash No. 12S was back in action at River Cities Speedway for one of the track’s marquee events. The four class program, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings, featured the WISSOTA Late Models and NOSA Sprints for just $5 admission.
It was all a part of the Greater Grand Forks Fair and the race was broadcasted live on cable television via Midco Sports Network.
Brad started the night by running third in his heat.
From there, the Grand Forks driver started sixth on the grid for the 20-lap Performance Auto main event. After falling back in the early going, Brad rebounded to crack the top five just before the halfway point on lap nine.
Brad utilized a lap 11 restart to jump from fourth to second in one lap as he moved by the Canadian duo of Shane Edginton and Ricky Weiss.
Brad set his sights on the leader, Bill Mooney, but was passed by defending WISSOTA Late Model national champion, Dustin Strand, with two laps to go.
Brad held on to round out the podium. In doing so, he extended his slim points lead by one marker. Brad now holds a seven point margin over Mike Balcaen.
On Saturday, the team was all set to open the NLRA season at Greenbush Race Park until rain canceled the event.
The series will try for a third weekend to kick off its 2017 campaign this Friday night at River Cities Speedway, which will include the NLRA make-up feature from June 16th’s postponed event.
