Jordan Adams Charges to 6th Place Finish at River Cities!

REYNOLDS, N.D. (June 27, 2017) – Last weekend Jordan Adams and the Home of Economy / Amity Technology team had three events lined up, beginning Thursday night at Norman County Raceway with the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints.

The night got off to a tough start after being mired back in an extremely tough heat race.

“Thursday night was just an off night. We drew poorly and weren’t able to do much in a very stacked heat race,” said Adams. “That set us up 15th in the feature and we just couldn’t get going. The rubber came in early so the track wasn’t too racy. It was a rough start to a three day race weekend.”

On Friday night, the team regrouped for their return to River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks.

“Friday was a brand new day,” continued Adams. “You have to carry a new attitude in every single race. The heat race was good. Unfortunately, there weren’t many lanes on the race track so whoever got going first was going to win it.”

Adams came home with a runner-up finish in the heat, which set him up to start ninth for the 25-lap feature.

“The feature was also good. We were very competitive and had a good car,” said Adams. “It was also an exciting race I thought. Lapped traffic came quick and the leaders were kind of all together.”

Adams methodically moved his way forward throughout the race, taking the checkers in the sixth position.

Next weekend, the Jordan Adams Racing team will take on River Cities Speedway Friday night before heading to the venue that yielded Adams’ first career win; Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, Minn.
