Seng Records Runner-up Finish at River Cities!

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 12, 2017) – Brad Seng kept his perfect streak of top five finishes in tact Friday night at River Cities Speedway as he raced to a second place finish.

Seng started the night by finishing fourth in his heat race from the sixth starting position, which placed him fifth on the starting grid for the 20-lap feature.

Seng battled with Joey Pederson and Mike Balcaen in the early going before settling into the fifth spot for nearly the first half of the race.

On lap eight, Seng broke his way into the top three as he got by Balcaen and Tom Corcoran to move into third. On the following lap, Seng maneuvered past Pederson to move into second.

Seng set his sights on the leader, Zach Naastad, but Naastad had too big of a gap in the closing laps for Seng to catch him.

This weekend, the NLRA Late Model season kicks off with a double header starting Friday night at River Cities Speedway as they co-headline the event with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series. On Saturday, the tour heads south 75 miles on I-29 to compete at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo.

Seng enters as the three-time and defending series champion and looks to be well on his way to contending for the championship once again in 2017.

The driver of the S&S Transportation / Anderson Brothers Body Shop No. 12S hasn’t finished outside of the top five in his first eight events and has one win to his credit. Seng is also leading the River Cities Speedway and WISSOTA North Dakota State point standings.
