Jordan Adams Charges to Top Five at River Cities!

REYNOLDS, N.D. (July 18, 2017) – Jordan Adams raced to his third top five of the season Friday night at River Cities Speedway as the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints co-headlined the night with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Models.

The evening saw a significant delay due to rain, but thanks to the diligence of the River Cities Speedway track crew, the night was ran in its entirety.

Adams had a solid drive in his heat race, advancing from fifth to second behind eventual feature winner Jade Hastings. That placed the Home of Economy / Amity Technology No. 20A in the seventh starting position for the 25-lap main event.

In his debut with the brand new Maxim chassis, Adams charged through the field, cracking the top five on lap seven.

“It was a really good night overall. We shook down the brand new car and felt really good doing so,” said Adams. “We were right up there shaking things up at the end, cautions just never seemed to go our way.”

Adams took the checkers in the fourth position behind Hastings, Wade Nygaard and Austin Pierce.

On Sunday, the Jordan Adams Racing team unloaded at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo.

“The track was really tough Sunday,” Adams continued. “We drew a bad pill and that had us starting last in the heat race. I was able to get a couple spots, but not enough for us to make the invert.”

Adams came home fifth in the heat after starting eighth. The Reynolds driver then started 11th on the 25-car starting grid.

“The feature gave us problems before we even hit the track. In staging, my right rear went flat. Our bleeder was sticking and dropped to 6lbs of air so that made it difficult in the feature after yellows when the tire lost pressure on top of extremely dry conditions.”

Still, Adams was able to salvage a 12th place effort. He now sits fifth in NOSA points, just eight points behind Nygaard.
