Jordan Adams Collects Podium Finish at River Cities!

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (August 2, 2017) – Last Friday night Jordan Adams and his Home of Economy / Amity Technology team were back in action at the River Cities Speedway bullring. By night’s end, Jordan would pick up his best finish of the season at RCS.
This weekend, the Jordan Adams Racing team will be competing with the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Cars Friday at River Cities Speedway and Saturday at Devils Lake Speedway.
Jordan’s night got off to a great start last Friday. The Reynolds, N.D. driver wheeled his way to a runner-up finish in heat race number two after racing for the lead with Austin Pierce early on.
The redraw put Jordan third on the 26-car starting grid for the 25-lap main event.
As the green flag flew, Jordan instantly had his hands full with Alberta, Canada runner, Kelly Miller. Miller stole the third spot from Jordan on the opening lap, but Jordan came back to regain the position exiting turn two on lap two.
The lead duo of Wade Nygaard and Pierce had a 10 car length advantage over Jordan once he cleared traffic, but a caution would regroup the field for a double file restart.
As the race resumed, Jordan kept Nygaard and Pierce within striking distance. The leaders were quickly bottled up by dense lapped traffic, which allowed Jordan to pull even with Pierce for the second spot.
However, Pierce was able to rocket off the bottom to hold the position as Jordan was soon held up by the same traffic.
At the checkers, Jordan held on to the third spot to claim his fourth top five of the 2017 season.
