Joey Pederson Records Top Five at River Cities
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 5, 2018) – Coming off a win the previous week, Joey Pederson was back in action last Friday night at River Cities Speedway. To start the night, Pederson looked poised to grab his second consecutive win at the Bullring.
The driver of the Shawn Horn Realtor / Votava Trucking No. 7P started eighth on the grid for the 20-lap feature and began moving forward at the drop of the green flag. Pederson cracked the top five on lap nine as he moved by sophomore Late Model driver, Brody Troftgruben.
In the final five circuits, Pederson maneuvered around Tom Corcoran for the fourth position before battling Bill Mooney for the final podium position. Pederson held the third spot as the white flag waved, but Mooney powered back by on the final lap to relegate Pederson to fourth at the checkers.
Tucker Pederson was also racing Friday night at River Cities Speedway. Tucker collected his second top 10 finish in three races at the high-banked three-tenths mile clay oval.
Kelsi Pederson raced with the NLSA Lightning Sprints Sunday evening at Buffalo River Race Park in Glyndon, Minn. After a third place finish in her heat, Kelsi charged from seventh to finish fourth in the feature.
