GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 20, 2018) – A capacity crowd was on hand Friday night at River Cities Speedway as the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series co-headlined the night with the NLRA Late Models. Three-time NLRA champion, Brad Seng, entered the night sixth in the series points standing and looked to make up ground on the top five.
The night got off to a good start for Seng as he drove from fifth to third in a stacked heat race.

That placed the Grand Forks driver ninth on the grid of 21 for the 25-lap feature. At the drop of the green flag, he fell back to 12th but he scratched and clawed his way back forward.

After racing with Joey Pederson and Jeffrey Massingill, Seng finally made his way back to ninth with five laps to go. Massingill and Seng traded the position in the closing laps, but Seng won the battle to take ninth at the checkers.

On Saturday, the S&S Transport team followed the NLRA tour to Devils Lake Speedway, but the event was canceled due to rain.

Seng will be competing this weekend at River Cities Speedway on Friday for weekly Wissota Late Model racing. On Saturday, he will be in action with the NLRA Late Models at Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, Minn.

Seng has four career wins at Greenbush. His first win came in 2002, but he most recently won last year on July 15th. Seng has won three of the last four NLRA events at the high-banked three-tenths mile oval.

Seng currently sits third in River Cities Speedway track points.
