Strand Dominates Performance Auto Late Model Feature
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 1, 2018) – Brandon Fuller and Tom Corcoran brought the field of Performance Auto WISSOTA Late Models to the green flag, but Dustin Strand led the opening lap from the third starting position. Strand and fellow second row starter, Mike Balcaen went three wide with Brandon Fuller for second on the opening lap before Strand snuck underneath Corcoran for the lead.
At the halfway point, Strand opened up his lead over Balcaen.
Strand sliced through lapped traffic and felt little pressure from behind as he took the win. Balcaen came home second while seventh place starter, Bill Mooney rounded out the podium.
