Adams Records Fourth Place Finish at River Cities

By Spieker Promotions

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 3, 2018) – The Jordan Adams Racing team has got their Home of Economy / DEKALB No. 20A rolling pretty well as they enter the second half of the season. Coming off a fourth place finish the previous week, Jordan Adams backed up that effort last Friday at the Bullring.

Following a second place finish in his heat, the redraw placed Adams in the fourth starting position for the 25-lap feature. Heavy rains leading up to the event made for a fast and tacky track, which made passing somewhat difficult.

Adams got as high as third, but ultimately took the checkers in the fourth position to mark his sixth top five of the year.

“It was good to be in the top five. We ran around in third for most of the race, but lost a spot on the last restart,” said Adams. “It seems like we have been right around that fourth to sixth place area. We will keep making some adjustments and hopefully keep going in the right direction. I think we have found a little speed the last few weeks so I am eager to get back going this weekend.”

This weekend, Adams will be back at River Cities Speedway on Friday night before returning to the site of his first career win; Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, Minn. When asked if he thinks he can pull off another win at Greenbush, Adams says he’s just going to take it one race at a time.

“We will focus on Friday first. It would be awesome to get the first win of the year. I feel like we are close, but there are so many things that could happen. Hopefully the stars align this weekend.”
