Dobmeier Returns to RydellCars.com Victory Lane

Pierce ran right in the tire tracks of Nygaard, but couldn’t find a way around the Auto Finance Super Center No. 9N. As the leaders encountered lapped traffic on lap five, Dobmeier made a bold move to split Pierce and a lapped car to gain second. Greg Nikitenko also got by Pierce to claim third.

Dobmeier made the pass for the lead in lapped traffic with a slide job off of turn four on Nygaard. A pair of cautions on lap 12 slowed the field. On the second restart, a hard-charging Thomas Kennedy moved into second with a slider on Nygaard. Nygaard returned the favor, but Kennedy managed to get back by. That allowed Dobmeier to pull out to a big lead.

With five to go, another caution flew for Chris Ranten, who slid to a stop down the back straightaway after battling inside the top five. One more quick caution set up a five lap dash to the finish with a single-file restart.

As the green was displayed, Dobmeier jumped out to a comfortable lead. The all-time River Cities Speedway wins leader rode the cushion all the way to the checkered flag and his eighth NOSA win of the season.

Kennedy, Nygaard, Nick Omdahl and Pierce rounded out the top five
