Seng Charges to Top Five with NLRA at River Cities

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 3, 2018) – Three-time NLRA Late Model champion, Brad Seng, was back in action Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks as the NLRA Late Models returned to the Bullring. The Midco Sports Network crew was also back in town as they broadcasted the event live on cable television to race fans all across the upper Midwest.

A fourth place finish in his heat put Seng back in the 11th starting position for the 20-lap feature. Seng began moving his way forward at the drop of the green flag. The race was slowed twice by red flags for separate incidents, all drivers involved were OK.

Seng took advantage of the restarts to move his way forward. Seng ran sixth in the closing laps, but worked by Tom Corcoran to claim a spot inside the top five. On the final restart, Seng drove around the outside of Mike Balcaen for fourth.

The driver of the S&S Transport No. 12S battled with Ryan Corbett for third but ran out of time as he took the checkers in fourth.

Seng will return to action this Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. Green flag drops at 7pm. The races can been seen live on IMCA.tv

Seng currently sits third in both the River Cities Speedway track points and NLRA standings entering the month of July.
