GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 24, 2018) – It may have taken until the middle of July, but Brad Seng and the S&S Transport team have finally claimed their first win of 2018. After falling from first to third in the heat race, the crew went to work on the No. 12S Wissota Late Model and found some speed for the main event.

Seng started third on the grid and charged into the lead on lap three. Seng pulled away from Ryan Corbett and Dustin Strand, who ran second and third, respectively. The three-time NLRA champion ran the remainder of the event unchallenged as he cruised to the win.

On Friday night, Seng was in action at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. A fifth-place finish in his heat buried him in the starting order for the feature. Seng started 14th for the 20-lap race, but still managed to race his way to a podium finish by night’s end.

Seng was the hard charger of the event, passing 11 cars to take the checkers in the third position.

Seng will return to action this Friday at River Cities Speedway, where he currently sits third in points, 60 markers out of the lead.

On Saturday, Seng will follow the NLRA to Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, Minnesota. Entering the weekend, Seng sits third in NLRA points as well, 94 points out of the lead.

In the series’ last visit to Greenbush, Seng recorded a runner-up finish.
