NOSA Double Header Lies Ahead for Jordan Adams Racing
REYNOLDS, N.D. (August 21, 2018) – Jordan Adams and the Home of Economy / DEKALB team took on the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series last Friday at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks and Saturday at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo. Adams raced to a 16th place finish at River Cities and recorded a 22nd place effort at Red River Valley. Adams will return to action with the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints this Friday at River Cities and Saturday at Devils Lake Speedway in Crary.
“We had a pretty good weekend overall. We had our little motor in, so all things aside I was happy with how things turned out,” said Adams. “We got our butt kicked. A lot of people would think that’s a bad thing, but that drives us to keep on getting better.”
After securing the 24th and final starting position in the 40-lap, $10,000-to-win A-main through the B-main, Adams stayed out of trouble and worked his way up the running order. Adams advanced eight spots to take the checkers in 16th.
On Saturday, the Reynolds driver made his season debut at Red River Valley Speedway with the Outlaws. Again, Adams grabbed the final transfer spot in the B-Main to claim a spot in the 30-lap main event.
Adams moved up two spots in the feature and finished in the 22nd position
On Friday, August 24th, the NOSA Sprint Car schedule fires back up. In NOSA’s last points-paying event on August 4th, Adams recorded a season-best third place finish.
“Honestly, I think we are really close,” said Adams of getting his first win at the Bullring. “In order to win at River Cities you need some luck, a perfect car, and to drive your tail off for 25 laps. The level of competition there weekly is so strong. I’m glad we have been a top five car every week. Maybe the stars will align for us once or twice before the season ends. We are working hard for it.”
Despite not running for points, Adams currently sits fourth in both the NOSA and River Cities Speedway standings.
