Adams Races to Podium Finish at River Cities

REYNOLDS, N.D. (August 7, 2018) – After having a week off from their home track, Jordan Adams and the Home of Economy / DEKALB team returned to River Cities Speedway on Friday night with the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints. By night’s end, Adams collected his third podium finish of the season.
Adams fell back from second to fourth in his heat, which mired him in 11th starting spot for the 25-lap feature.

Passing was at a premium on the fast, tacky, and at some times choppy, high-banked three-tenths mile bullring. Adams methodically moved his way forward, breaking into the top five with five laps to go.

“Another third place finish felt good,” said Adams. “In the heat race we had no brakes, so that led to us starting deep in the feature. The track stayed really heavy the whole night and with that we were super tight in the feature. We were lucky to get third, but it’s also kind of disappointing being that close to a win with an ill car.”

On Saturday, Adams followed the NOSA Sprints to Devils Lake Speedway in Crary, N.D.

A fourth place finish in the heat put Adams 10th on the grid for the feature. However, Adams lost the driveshaft on his No. 20A machine, bringing his night to an end early.

Adams will be off next week before returning to action against the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at River Cities Speedway on August 17th and Red River Valley Speedway on August 18th.
