Grosz Collects a Pair of Podium Finishes with MSTS, Gears Up for Jackson Nationals

HARWOOD, N.D. (August 29, 2018) – Lee Grosz reclaimed the MSTS 360 points lead over the weekend behind his podium efforts at Jackson Motorplex and Park Jefferson Speedway. He currently holds a 118 point lead over Jack Dover atop the standings.

“We were very good in the heat. We ended up fourth, which put us back in 12th in the feature,” said Grosz. “The track slicked off in the feature, which played into our favor. We got a good start… I was up to fifth in about three laps. I picked my way up to second and there was a red flag with five to go. I thought I could maybe get by [Jordan Martens] because I was catching him pretty good in lapped traffic. After the red I had nothing for him, though. After the way the night started, I’ll take a second place finish at Jackson for sure.”

On Saturday, Grosz made his third appearance to Park Jefferson Speedway.

After driving from fourth to second in his heat, Grosz started eighth in the feature. The Harwood, N.D. driver charged all the way up to third by the end of the 25-lap main event.

This weekend, the Lee Grosz Racing team will head back to Jackson Motorplex for the $10,000-to-win Midwest Power Equipment 360 Nationals. In all three nights of the Jackson Nationals last year, Grosz finished 3rd in the A-main. In his six visits to Jackson this season, Grosz hasn’t finished worse than seventh. Along the way, he has collected four podium finishes, along with a fifth-place run.

“We figured out a few things during the feature at Jackson on Friday night that I think will work out well for us this weekend. I think we should be ready to rock. Hopefully, we can have two good prelim nights to get us locked into the top four for Sunday and put us in position for 10 grand.”

Lee and the entire team would like to thank all of their sponsors for their continued support!
