Podium finish highlights Seng’s racing weekend

GRAND FORKS, ND (August 2, 2018) – Brad Seng was back in action last weekend at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks and Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, Minn. Brad started in the fourth position in his heat race and was able to drive to third, which lined him up ninth on the starting grid for the feature at River Cities.

Seng steadily moved his way up in the feature during the early going of the race. In a race that went green to checkers, Seng found himself up to fifth by lap eight. The top five of the race would remain the same through the checkereds.

The No. 12S team loaded up and headed to Greenbush Race Park on Saturday with the NLRA Late Models. Seng started on the pole for his heat race and faded back to second as Joey Pederson take the heat race win. This lined Seng up fourth on the starting grid for the feature.

After the green flag, Seng was mired in the sixth position but battled his way up to the front. The No. 12S took the lead away from race leader, Mike Balcaen, for one lap until Balcaen was able to power by Seng one last time. Seng would settle for the second position.

This coming weekend will be a busy one for the No. 12S team. The first race of the weekend will be at River Cities Speedway, followed by two NLRA shows at Jamestown Speedway on Saturday and Nodak Speedway in Minot on Sunday. Brad currently sits third in the NLRA points standings behind Balcaen and Dustin Strand.
