EVENT PREVIEW: Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints Return to Devils Lake Speedway on Saturday

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 30, 2019) – After a wet and rainy month of May, the 26th season for the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints begins to crank up as the calendar flips to June. The upper Midwest’s best 410 Sprint Car drivers have a doubleheader on tap this weekend beginning on Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. On Saturday, June 1st, the series heads 65 miles west on Highway 2 to Devils Lake Speedway in Crary, N.D. for their first and only appearance of the season. The high-banked quarter-mile oval has become both a fan and driver favorite over the years.

In 2018, Devils Lake Speedway hosted eight NOSA events. Nick Omdahl had a series-leading three wins at the speedway, followed by Wade Nygaard who scored a pair of wins along with the Devils Lake Speedway track championship. Jade Hastings also had two wins on the season. Austin Pierce’s lone win of the season may have been the most exciting. Pierce stole the win with a last lap, last corner pass for the lead on Thomas Kennedy.

The green flag drops at 7pm on Saturday night.
