HARWOOD, N.D. (June 27, 2019) – Lee Grosz and the Jimco Enterprises No. 4J team returned to action this past weekend with the Midwest Power Series at Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minn. The event was Grosz’s second career visit to the high-banked three-eighths mile oval.

“We had a solid night overall. We ran the car we crashed at Jackson a couple of weeks ago and it had a couple of dings in it so to have the speed that we did was relieving,” said Grosz.

Grosz drew the number one pill to start the night, which led to a heat race win from the pole position. Grosz drew the number one pill again for the dash and led early before finishing in second.

“We made a few changes for the feature, but we were the second fastest car there,” admitted Grosz. “We were able to reel in Thomas [Kennedy] in lapped traffic, but we got a caution about halfway in and he was gone on the restart. I think we found a few ways we can find some more speed for next time so it was a good weekend overall.”

Grosz will be taking this weekend off before gearing up to head to Cedar Lake Speedway on Saturday, July 6th for the Midwest Power Series event.

Grosz hasn’t visited Cedar Lake Speedway since 2016. That year, he made three trips to the New Richmond, Wis. three-eighths mile and came away with two victories.

Lee and the entire team would like to thank all their sponsors for their continued support!
