Mullen makes his first career start with the World of Outlaws!

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 12, 2019) – Sixteen year-old Sprint Car pilot, Brendan Mullen, made his first two career starts with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series this past weekend. The weekend began on Friday night as the “Greatest Show on Dirt” invaded Mullen’s home track, River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks.

Overall, Mullen had a strong night. He began by timing in 17th quick out of 25 cars. He started the 40-lap feature in the 20th position and ran toe-to-toe with some of the best Sprint Car drivers in the world until contact with another car ended his night early.

The Auto Finance Super Center team regrouped and headed to Granite City Speedway in Sauk Rapids, Minn. on Saturday with the World of Outlaws.

Mullen started 23rd on the grid for the 35-lap feature. Despite tricky track conditions with a treacherous cushion on both ends of the speedway, Mullen worked his way forward to finish in the 19th position.

This Friday, Mullen will return to River Cities Speedway as the NOSA Sprint Car schedule resumes. Racing begins at 7pm at the Bullring.

Brendan and the entire Mullen Motorsports team would like to thank all their sponsors for their support!
