Nygaard looks ahead to NOSA schedule heating up
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 12, 2019) – This Friday night, Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Car action returns to the high banks of River Cities Speedway. With just two NOSA events completed at the Bullring so far this year, and five races scheduled for the next two weeks, Wade Nygaard and the Auto Finance Super Center crew are looking forward to getting some races in.
While this coming weekend will be a fairly quiet one with just one race on the schedule, the NOSA Sprints will race four nights at four tracks in three states the following weekend.
Nygaard picked up two wins in the four-race NOSA swing last summer. Those wins came at Norman County Raceway in Ada, Minn. and at River Cities Speedway.
Last weekend, Nygaard competed in a pair of World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series events. On Friday, the Greatest Show on Dirt was at River Cities Speedway. Nygaard was the highest running local driver in the main event until he was spun into an infield tire with 13 laps to go. He would be credited with a 23rd place finish.
On Saturday, the Nygaard Motorsports crew followed the Outlaws to Granite City Speedway in Sauk Rapids, Minn. On a tough and tricky racing surface, Nygaard came home 20th in the main event.
Wade and the entire crew would like to thank their great sponsors for their continued support!
