Nygaard Looks Ahead to NOSA’s Busiest Weekend

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 19, 2019) – After a slow start to the season, things pick up for the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints this weekend. Four races are slated in four nights in three states. This is the second season they are making their Minn-Dak Summer Swing. It all begins Thursday night at Norman County Raceway in Ada, Minn., followed by a visit to River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks on Friday.

The series will head to South Dakota for the rest of the weekend with Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen scheduled for Saturday and Casino Speedway in Watertown on Sunday.

Nygaard won two of the four races of the Minn-Dak Summer Swing last year, with victories at Norman County Raceway and River Cities Speedway. Nygaard leads all drivers with six career wins at the Ada, Minn. three-eighths mile oval.

Coming into the weekend, Nygaard leads the River Cities Speedway point standings by 13 markers over Jordan Adams.

The NOSA Sprints had just one event on the schedule last weekend. The Auto Finance Super Center No. 9N was back at River Cities Speedway on Friday night and kicked things off by timing in third quick and finishing second in his heat. From there, Nygaard drove from sixth to third in the feature to capture his fourth NOSA top five in as many races.

Catch live audio of the races from Norman County Raceway on RJBroadcasting.com. On Friday, the races will be broadcast live on Midco Sports Network. Sunday at Casino Speedway, Dirt Race Central will have a live pay-per-view broadcast.
