RACEDAY PREVIEW: Adams Set to Embark on Four-Race NOSA Swing
REYNOLDS, N.D. (June 20, 2019) – NOSA’s biggest week of the season kicks off tonight at the historic Norman County Raceway in Ada, Minn. The Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints will set out for a four-race swing in four nights in three states. On Friday night, the NOSA Sprints will head back to their home track, River Cities Speedway, before heading to South Dakota for the final two events.
Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen will host the 410 Sprint touring series on Saturday, followed by Casino Speedway in Watertown on Sunday.
“I’m definitely looking forward to Ada. We have been good there in the past, so hopefully, we are able to continue our luck there,” said Adams. “Casino Speedway is also a blast. It’s one of my favorite tracks. Hopefully, the weather holds off and we can find ourselves In victory lane.”
Adams finished fourth and eighth, respectively, at Norman County and Casino last season.
Entering Thursday’s event at Norman County, Adams sits fourth in the NOSA point standings.
Last weekend, Adams had one race on the schedule. The Home of Economy / DEKALB No. 20A team unloaded at River Cities Speedway on Friday night. Following a heat race win, Adams led in the early going of the 25-lap main event.
“We showed a lot of speed on Friday. I’m pretty sure we even turned the fastest lap of the night,” he said. “Everything was going great until we spun out there racing for the lead. After that I just wasn’t able to get going on the top as the bottom was just too good. It was kind of disappointing but we know we have the speed so we can adjust from there.”
Adams will look to have another good showing at River Cities on Friday night. The races from River Cities will be broadcast live on Midco Sports Network.
