River Cities top ten highlights Seng’s weekend!

GRAND FORKS, ND (June 12, 2019) – With one race over the weekend, Brad Seng and the Collette Farms/Broken Drum No. 12S team looked to find success on the big stage in front of the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars, which co-headlined Friday night’s event with the NLRA Late Models at River Cities Speedway.

Seng was on the move all night, starting in his heat race. He moved from the fifth position and raced himself into third at the finish line. This put Brad inside of row five for the NLRA feature. Although Schatz led the entire race, there was a battle that ensued behind the leaders.

At the start, the driver of the S&S Transport machine quickly moved past Shane Edginton and Bill Mooney to claim the sixth position. Seng raced in this spot for the next 10 laps until he came under fire by a hard-charging Edginton. Mooney and Seng challenged each other for seventh and eighth in the closing laps. Brad was able to win the battle and also picked off one more car, MattSmith, before finishing in the sixth position.

Seng will return to River Cities Speedway this Friday for another NLRA event. Saturday the team will pack up and head west to Devils Lake Speedway, where the NLRA Late Models make another series stop.
