Seng opens 2019 NLRA season with Devils Lake Top Five

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 6, 2019) – The 2019 Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) season is finally underway. The season kicked off last Saturday night at Devils Lake Speedway in Crary, N.D. With a stout 22-car field on hand, Brad Seng began the night with a solid second-place run in his heat race.

That put the three-time series champion fourth on the grid for the 30-lap, $2,000-to-win main event. Track conditions around the high-banked quarter-mile changed throughout the race, but at the checkers, Seng crossed the line right where he started; in the fourth position.

The NLRA tour continues this Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks as the series co-headlines the night with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars.

Seng was also in action last Friday night at River Cities, where he captured a podium finish. Following his second win of the season, Seng charged from ninth to record a third-place finish.

Seng will enter this weekend’s action sitting tied for second in the River Cities Speedway point standings with Shane Edginton, just one point behind leader Joey Pederson.
