Jordan Adams’ Set For NOSA Doubleheader Weekend

REYNOLDS, N.D. (June 12, 2019) – Jordan Adams and the DEKALB No. 20A team was able to stay close to home this past weekend and get two races in with the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Cars. Friday night the team unloaded at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND., followed by the annual visit to Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, Minn.

Friday night started strong with a second place finish in Jordan’s heat. Adams started third in the feature and was able to hold the position for the majority of the race until a late race red flag slowed competition. A delay of about 30 minutes occurred when Shane Roemeling had something break and drove hard into the fence, which had to be repaired. Upon resuming the race, Jordan slid back to the fifth position where he would cross the finish line.

“Friday went well. We had a really good car all night and the track was in pretty good shape. Ran around third through fifth in the feature. Had a late race yellow that kind of threw us off for a shot at second at the end. Made a small bobble and that was the slightest difference between finishing third to fifth.”

The next night the Home of Economy No. 20A made the trip to Greenbush where Jordan ran third in his heat and started sixth on the starting grid for the feature. In a caution-plagued feature, Jordan came home second, which is his best finish to date this year.

“Normally I’d say second sucks, but it was nice to take home the second place check to help out with the seven tires we burned off Saturday night.”

Coming up for the team this weekend is Friday night at River Cities Speedway along with the World of Outlaws Late Models. Sunday the team will head south to compete at the annual NOSA stop at Red River Valley Speedway for the Red River Valley Fair special. In his last two appearances at Red River Valley Speedway, Jordan’s best finish was an eighth place effort in 2016. The green flag drops at 6 pm and admission to the races are free with the purchase of a fair pass.

Jordan and the entire 20A team would like to thank all of their partners for their continued support!
