Nick Omdahl Hangs on for Greenbush Win

GREENBUSH, Minn. (July 6, 2019) – The Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints made their annual visit to Greenbush Race Park on Saturday night. A slim, but stout field of 10 Northern Outlaws were checked in at the high-banked three-tenths mile oval.

East Grand Forks, Minn. driver, Nick Omdahl picked up his first win of the season. Omdahl started on the pole and grabbed the lead in the early going over sophomore Sprint Car pilot Brendan Mullen.

Several drivers suffered flat right rear tires as a result of track conditions, but Omdahl was able to make his tire last just long enough to take the checkered flag.

“The main thing was to get the number one pill draw and get the pole,” admitted Omdahl after the race. “I was really nervous during the race I was going to burn my tire up. My right rear starting shaking with 15 to go so I had to start taking it easy. It was really close, but we made it.”

Omdahl took the win over Jordan Adams as Jordan Graham rounded out the podium.
