PREVIEW: Jordan Adams Racing Heads West to Dacotah Speedway’s Governor’s Cup!

REYNOLDS, N.D. (July 26, 2019) – The Jordan Adams Racing team is headed west this weekend for Mandan, N.D. Two nights of racing with the NOSA Sprints at the big, fast three-eighths mile oval is up next! There was only one race on the docket for the SESVanderHave USA / Home of Economy No. 20A this past weekend, and that was the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Car event at River Cities Speedway.
Adams started the night finishing fifth in his heat race. Starting on the third row inside for the feature, Adams had his hands full with a technical track.
“We were a little off on Friday compared to the previous week but still managed to put together a decent run. The track was pretty dry and technical, which doesn’t suit our driving style.”
The No. 20A finished the night in seventh, scoring his 10th top ten of the year.
Coming up this weekend is the Governor’s Cup at Dacotah Speedway. The crew is looking forward to a new perspective from a different track.
“Last year Mandan had prepped the track for us both nights really well so we had an exciting feature both nights. I’m excited to get a little break from our normal tracks and regroup a little bit somewhere else. Hopefully we can put the 20A up front both nights.”
Last year, Adams started the Friday night show in the 19th position and worked his way up into 12th by the end of the feature. The following night Adams made improvements and it showed. He was able to start the car up front for the feature, and finished the night in fourth.
Gates open at 5 p.m with Sprint Car hot laps at 6 p.m and racing to begin at 6:30 p.m. If you can’t make it to the speedway, be sure to catch all the action on dacotahspeedway.tv.
