Big Weekend Lies Ahead for Nygaard Motorsport Crew

By Spieker Promotions

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (August 30, 2019) – Wade Nygaard and the Auto Finance Super Center team were in action two nights last weekend. First up was Friday’s program at River Cities Speedway with the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints.

After picking up a heat win, Nygaard rolled off third on the grid for the 25-lap feature. Nygaard moved forward early on, leading a couple of laps around the halfway point, but ultimately settled on a fourth-place finish. Bobby Martin picked up the win – his first at the speedway since 2010.

“Friday went really well. I had a really good car. In the feature, the line that we were running and set up for went away on us. I was glad to see Bobby get a win. That was pretty cool,” said Nygaard.

On Saturday, the team made a last-minute decision to head to Devils Lake Speedway for the Canadian-American Outlaw Sprint Series event.

“It was basically a little research and development night for us,” he said. “It was pretty awesome to be right behind Brendan (Mullen) the whole time and watch him get his first win. We had a restart with six to go and there was basically one fast lane right around the middle. He was wide open and I was wide open. It was definitely fun to see. When the race was over I was laughing and giggling and mad that I finished second all at the same time.”

Not only did Mullen and Nygaard finish first and second, but they both also lapped the entire field in the 25-lap feature.

This weekend, Nygaard will return to River Cities on Friday before heading to Buffalo River Race Park in Glyndon, Minn. on Sunday with the NOSA Sprints.

Wade and the entire crew would like to thank their great sponsors for their continued support!
