Consistency has been key for Nygaard in 2019

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (August 22, 2019) – Wade Nygaard and the Auto Finance Super Center team will return to River Cities Speedway tomorrow night for the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Car event. Coming into Friday’s races, Nygaard is batting a thousand when it comes to recording top five finishes with the NOSA Sprints.

Nygaard has collected 13 top five finishes in 13 starts with NOSA so far in 2019, including eight at River Cities. The 10-time and defending NOSA champion has picked up back-to-back runner-up finishes at the Bullring in his last two series starts on Aug. 2nd and Aug. 9th.

Despite missing two shows at River Cities due to traveling to some out of town 360 events, the defending River Cities Speedway co-champion is still sitting seventh in the track point standings, just 80 points out of the lead.

Tomorrow’s event is the only one on the card for the Nygaard Motorsports team this weekend.

Last Friday night, Nygaard competed with the World of Outlaws as they made their final visit to Grand Forks in 2019. Nygaard transferred into the 40-lap feature by way of a second-place finish in the Last Chance Showdown. At the checkers, Nygaard ended the night with an 18th place finish in the feature.

NOSA hot laps start at 6:30pm tomorrow night at River Cities Speedway with time trials to follow. Racing begins at 7pm.

Wade and the entire crew would like to thank their great sponsors for their continued support!
