Kelsi Keeps Cruising; Tucker Claims Third Win of 2019!

EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (August 15, 2019) – It was another big weekend for the Joey Pederson Racing team. Both Kelsi and Tucker visited victory lane, while Joey raced to a podium finish.
Kelsi has been on a roll the last four weeks. The defending Northern Lightning Sprint Association champion picked up her fifth win over that span on Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks and her sixth overall win of 2019.
Kelsi picked up the win in dominating fashion, taking the lead on the opening lap and never looking back. The driver of the Henchcraft No. 93 led all 15 circuits around the high-banked three-tenths mile bullring en route to her second win of the season at the speedway.
The win also marked her second consecutive feature win as she raced to victory lane last Thursday night at Norman County Raceway.
This weekend, she will head back to Greenbush Race Park on Saturday night. Kelsi came home fourth in the feature last Saturday night at Greenbush.
Tucker picked up his third feature win of the season Saturday night at Greenbush. He started on the pole of the 15-car field and led all 15 laps en route to the win. The win was his first of the season at Greenbush.
Joey Pederson returned to the podium last Friday night in Wissota Late Model action. Joey started in the fifth position before working his way forward to collect his fourth top three finish of the season and eighth top five finish.
On Friday, the NLRA Late Models will co-headline the night with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at River Cities. When the Outlaws last visited the Bullring in June, Joey finished a close second to Donny Schatz in a thrilling NLRA main event. Joey has one NLRA victory to his credit this season, which came on July 27th at Greenbush Race Park.
