GRAND FORKS, N.D. (August 7, 2019) – It was a slow weekend for Wade Nygaard and the Bosh Enterprises / Auto Finance Super Center No. 9N this past weekend, with only one race on the docket at River Cities Speedway with the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Cars.
The team was hot from the beginning of the night, moving from the sixth position in his heat to finish second. Nygaard lined up sixth on the starting grid for the 25-lap feature. The event got off to a slow start with a handful of cautions and red flags plaguing the early stages.
Nygaard was able to avoid each incident, and after a single-file restart, he was able to get around second-place runner Ty Hanten on the bottom of turn two.
The chase was on for leader, Mark Dobmeier. Dobmeier would prove to be too fast, but Nygaard would cross the checkers with a strong second-place finish.
Coming up for the Nygaard Motorsports team will be another Friday night date at River Cities Speedway with the NOSA Sprints. With the Knoxville Nationals being held in Knoxville, Iowa, no NOSA points will be awarded on Friday.
Wade and the entire crew would like to thank their great sponsors for their continued support!
