Pierce looks to make it four-in-a-row at River Cities Speedway!
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (August 2, 2019) – Austin Pierce has been on an incredible hot streak at RiverCities Speedway over the last month. He has won the last three Buffalo Wild Wings Northern Outlaw Sprint Association (NOSA) Sprint Car features at the Bullring, and after a rare off weekend, he looks to win his fourth in a row tonight.
Because of the hot streak the No. 2A team has found themselves on, they have overtaken the River Cities Speedway Sprint Car point lead from Nick Omdahl by a slim margin of one point. Jade Hastings sits in the third spot with a difference of three points.
If Austin picks up the win tonight, he will complete a feat that hasn’t been achieved at River Cities Speedway since 2016, and achieved only twice since 2012. Mark Dobmeier has won four in a row in 2012 and 2016; Austin hopes he can add his name to the small list of drivers in River Cities history who have accomplished this milestone.
Friday’s event at River Cities Speedway is the only event on the schedule this weekend for the two-time NOSA champion.
