GRAND FORKS, N.D. (August 2, 2019) – Another solid weekend for Brad Seng and the S&S Transport / Broken Drum No. 12S team is in the books. The two-race weekend was highlighted by Brad Seng going back-to-back at River Cities Speedway and claiming his 37th NLRA series win. Seng was also in action with NLRA Late Models on Saturday night at Greenbush Race Park.

The night started off strong Friday as Seng collected his heat race win. Lining up second on the field for the feature, Seng wasted no time and jumped out to the lead in front of pole-sitter, Cole Schill. Hot in Seng’s tracks was Shane Edginton, trying to score his first win at River Cities Speedway for the year.

Seng and Edginton battled the entire race, which went green to checkered, on the track and through lapped traffic. Multiple times Edginton dove to the inside of Seng and nosed ahead, but Seng was able to get good speed out of the corners to maintain the lead. Seng led all 25 laps en route to his third win of the season, and second at River Cities Speedway.

At Greenbush Race Park, Seng finished fourth in his heat. Seng started the feature in 11th and worked his way up to fourth where he would finish the feature.

Next on the schedule is weekly racing at River Cities Speedway tonight at River Cities Speedway. The team will then pack up and head west to Devils Lake Speedway and NoDak Speedway in Minot, N.D. for NLRA competition.

Currently, Seng still sits third in NLRA points but has closed the gap on both Edginton and Dustin Strand. Seng now sits 14 points behind Edginton and 40 points behind Strand.
