GRAND FORKS, N.D. (September 5, 2019) – Brendan Mullen pulled through for his first career 410 Sprint Car win on Saturday, August 24th with the Canadian-American Outlaw Sprint Series at Devils Lake Speedway. Brendan held off his racing mentor and teammate Wade Nygaard en route to the win.

“I’ve been around Wade’s car and racing team my entire life. It was pretty cool to beat him on 25 laps straight. It was wide open. It was a fun track. There was a lot of lapped traffic,” said Brendan.

Both Brendan and Wade lapped the entire field.

Brendan had a busy three-race stretch over Labor Day weekend. It started on Friday night at River Cities Speedway with a seventh-place finish in the main event.

On Saturday, the Auto Finance Super Center team went west to Minot for the $2,000-to-win special at Nodak Speedway. After a second-place finish in his heat, Brendan started third in the feature.

“In the heat race, I passed everybody then blew it off the corner and ruptured an oil line. I restarted the heat and finished second,” explained Brendan.

Brendan made 15 laps in the feature before the oil line issue forced him back to the pits while running third.

Brendan made his 410 Sprint Car debut at Buffalo River Race Park on Sunday with the NOSA Sprints. He came home second in his heat race before starting and finishing sixth in the feature.

This weekend, Brendan will be back in action on Friday night at River Cities.

Brendan and the entire Mullen Motorsports team would like to thank all their sponsors for their support!
