Nygaard ready for ASCS triple-header!

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (September 19, 2019) – After an off-week due to the River Cities Speedway rainout on September 13th, Wade Nygaard and the Auto Finance Super Center crew return to action tonight at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri.

This weekend’s Jesse Hockett / Daniel McMillin Memorial with the Lucas Oil ASCS National tour will be the second visit to the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks” for Nygaard in the last three years.

In his most recent appearance to Lucas Oil Speedway in 2017, Nygaard’s weekend was highlighted by a heat race win on the opening night of action and solid runs throughout the three-day event.

Nygaard enters this weekend with seven wins, 20 top fives and 22 top tens in 33 starts.

Nygaard’s Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA season came to an end with last Friday night’s rainout. Despite not running the full season, Nygaard still finished in the top five in the NOSA point standings and finished sixth in the River Cities Speedway track standings.

Unfortunately, Wade’s season at River Cities Speedway ended on the back of the wrecker on Friday, Sept. 6th as a result of contact with another car. However, he rebounded the following night at Cedar Lake Speedway with the Midwest Power Series.

Wet conditions made for a hammer-down racing surface, but made passing difficult. Still, Nygaard moved up two spots to record a fifth-place finish.

This weekend’s races will be broadcast live on Lucas Oil Racing TV. Live audio can be found at RacinBoys.com

Wade and the entire crew would like to thank their great sponsors for their continued support!
