Jordan Adams looking for strong comeback this Friday at River Cities

REYNOLDS, N.D. (June 17, 2020) – The season is finally in full swing for the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Cars, as two weeks are now in the books at the series’ home, the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks.
The track may be different, but the results were very similar for Jordan Adams, who was looking build off a top 10 run at the Speedway on week prior.
Similar qualifying times, and another sixth place heat finish, however, placed him in the 11th starting spot for last Friday’s main event for the second consecutive week.
Adams didn’t get off to the best of starts, as he slid back to the 15th position early in the 25 lapper.
Just before the midway point, Adams rallied and started make a comeback, climbing back to 12th.
With four laps remaining, and a couple more passes, Adams made a strong bid to score a second consecutive top 10, moving past Jack Croaker for 10th.
But with Croaker regaining the spot on the following lap, Adams rally fell short of another top 10, as he crossed under the checkers with an 11th place finish.
Though the result wasn’t as good the previous weeks performance, Adams felt better overall about his efforts, saying post race that, “we still struggled Friday, but were a little better overall. We are changing some things up once again, and hope to have some positive notes to build off after Friday.”
Adams will return to action this Friday night with the NOSA Sprints at River Cities Speedway. Time trials start at 6:30pm, followed by racing at 7:00pm.
