Mullen’s podium finish at I-90 puts him second in MSTS 360 standings!
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 11, 2020) – Brendan Mullen’s strong start to the 2020 season continued last Saturday night at I-90 Speedway in Hartford, S.D. Mullen captured his best finish of the season with a third-place finish against the MSTS 360s.
After finishing third in his heat, Mullen drew the fourth starting position for the 25-lap main event. The third-year Sprint Car pilot mixed it up with some of the best 360 drivers S.D. has to offer and came away with a strong third-place finish.
Mullen now sits second in the MSTS point standings, just 18 points behind defending series champion, Jack Dover.
Mullen will try his hand at I-90 Speedway for the third consecutive weekend this Saturday night.
The driver of the CL Linfoot / Simplot No. 11M was also in action at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks on Friday night as the speedway welcomed the NOSA Sprints for the first time in 2020.
After some trouble in his heat, Mullen rebounded to charge from 10th to seventh in the main event.
Mullen will also be back at the Bullring this Friday night.
