Adams Sets Sights On Double Header NOSA Weekend

REYNOLDS, N.D. (July 8, 2020) – Looking forwards to building off a fourth-place run one week prior, Jordan Adams had a solid start to his evening on Friday night at River Cities Speedway with the NOSA Sprints, breaking into the ten-second bracket in qualifying, and putting down the ninth-best time of the qualifying session.
Adams’ success continued into the heat race, as he finished third in the race, and with the sixth-best passing point total, earned a spot on the front stretch for the feature redraw.
One last bit of fortune followed as Adams redrew the pole position for the main event.
During the main event, Adams struggled a bit on the narrow and fast three-tenths mile River Cities Bullring, finishing the feature with his third top ten of the season.
“Friday was a little bit of a bummer,” said Adams. “Anytime you start up front, obviously you want to stay there. I’m eager to get back to work Friday.”
Adams continued, “We were just too tight. I think I was on two or three wheels more than four [during] the feature. About the only good thing that came out of it was we rolled the car in the trailer [in one piece] at the conclusion of [the race.]”
After another run at River Cities this Friday, Adams will head west to Devils Lake Speedway near Crary, ND, for the first out-of-town race for the NOSA Sprint Cars.
“Grand Forks has been so challenging for me, I am just looking forward to a different scene, ” said Adams of NOSA’s event at Devils Lake on Saturday night. “We have struggled in Devils Lake, but every day is a new day to keep learning and getting better.”
