Two More Top Tens For Adams Before Governor’s Cup Weekend

REYNOLDS, N.D. (July 29, 2020) – It was another solid week of action for Jordan Adams, as he posted another pair of top tens at River Cities and Jamestown Speedway, both with the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association.

After starting and finishing fourth in his heat race on Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, Adams started seventh in the main event.

Six cautions, both yellow and red, blighted the first half of the main event, but Adams was able to steer clear of the accidents to remain seventh at the midway point.

Adams remained seventh throughout the remainder of the race.

“We were a little off,” Adams said about Friday at River Cities. “But still managed to miss the wrecks and bring home a decent finish.”

On Saturday night, the series headed to the Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, ND for the first time in three years.

Jordan drew the sixth starting spot for his heat race, but was able to climb three positions to finish third.

Adams was running around the top five at the final caution on lap six, but remained in the sixth spot for the final nineteen laps, which went caution free.

“We were pretty fast in our heat going from sixth to third, and catching the leaders the last few laps.” Adams said of his night in Jamestown. He continued, “We also had a pretty good car in the feature, but just struggled on restarts and getting through lap traffic.”

This weekend, Adams will head west to Dacotah Speedway in Mandan, ND for the Governor’s Cup. This will be the third consecutive year the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association will be headlining the Governor’s Cup.

In his last three starts at Dacotah Speedway, Adams has collected two top fives and hasn’t finished worse than sixth.

“I am very excited to get back to Mandan.” Adams said, looking forward to this weekend. “We have had a really good car the last few races there. At that place you can run the guardrail and be fast or run the very top. Regardless the track is very racey.”

Jordan and the entire 20A team would like to thank all of their partners for their continued support!
