Tucker Pederson Scores Fourth Win Of The Season

By Spieker Promotions

EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (August 11, 2020) – Tucker Pederson continued the best season of his young career last week, first scoring a runner-up finish on Friday at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, then followed that up with his fourth win of the season in the No. 27P Olson Underground / AdMonkeys.com Street Stock at Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN.

Last Friday night, Tucker started on the front row of his heat race and went on to win, setting him up with a fifth place start in the evenings main event.

Tucker climbed up to third early in the race using the bottom of the quarter-mile Bullring, before moving to the top on the third circuit.

At the midway point, Tucker and Trey Hess had caught the lead duo, though a pair of cautions shortly thereafter bunched the field back together for a pair of double file restarts.

Tucker capitalized on the final restart to take the second spot, and finished as the runner-up.

On Saturday night at Greenbush, Tucker again won his heat race, this time setting up a front row start in the feature.

Doug VanMill led the opening circuit, but Tucker made the pass for the lead on the second round, and led the remaining 14 laps for his fourth victory of the 2020 campaign. The win now puts Tucker 16 markers ahead of Ryan Johnson for the point lead in Greenbush, with five races remaining.

Joey was the only other driver in the Pederson racing stable that was in action last weekend, as he brought the No. 7P Channel Seed / Invision Ag Victory Late Model to River Cities on Friday night.

Joey finished fourth in his heat race, and started 12th in the main event. Joey made short work of getting inside the top 10, making two passes in the first pair of turns to get 10th on the initial start.

Joey made two more passes on laps two and four to move into the eight position. There was only one caution in the 20 lapper with five remaining, setting up a single-file restart.

Joey spent the remaining circuits running on the cushion and finished the race in the eighth spot.

This week, there will be two Pederson’s racing on Friday night, once again. This time it will be Kelsi joining Tucker, as the Late Models will have the night off. On Saturday night, Joey will join Tucker, as the NLRA Late Models will head to Greenbush for the first and only time this season.

The entire Joey Pederson Racing team would like to thank all of their great sponsors for their continued support!
