Brad Seng hard-charges to top five at River Cities

By Mike Spieker

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (September 2, 2020) – Brad Seng returned to action last Friday night at River Cities Speedway for another tune-up before the John Seitz Memorial on Sept. 10-12.

Seng moved up two spots in his heat race to start the night and collected a fourth-place finish. That put the four-time and defending NLRA champion back in the 12th position for the 20-lap feature.

Seng quickly broke into the top 10 on lap three. His charge to the front continued as he moved into sixth on lap nine. He rode in that position for the next several laps until he moved by Cole Schill to take the fifth position with five laps to go.

Seng took the checkers in the fifth position and was one of three hard chargers in the race to advance seven positions.

Seng currently sits second in the River Cities Speedway track standings, 10 points behind Dustin Strand.

The only event on tap for the S&S Transport / Schill Construction No. 12S team is on Friday night at River Cities Speedway.
