GRAND FORKS, N.D. (September 15, 2020) –  Brad Seng and the S&S Transport No. 12S wrapped up the NLRA season last Thursday night at River Cities Speedway during the Prelude to the Johnny. The weekend concluded with the biggest Late Model show in the area, the John Seitz Memorial.A stacked field of 50 Late Models were checked in on Thursday for the Prelude to the Johnny. After starting his heat race in seventh, the defending NLRA champion moved up to fourth, missing the transfer spot by one position.

Seng was ready for his B-main as he started on the pole and picked up the win. That put Seng in the 20th starting spot in the feature for the 25-lap season finale. He made quick work of the field to finish in the ninth spot, giving him the edge on Brody Troftgruben for the runner-up in NLRA points.

The following night was qualifying for the big race, the 92-lap, $9,200-to-win John Seitz Memorial. After moving up one spot in his heat race to finish eighth, that put Brad in a B-Main for championship night on Saturday. Starting deep in the field in 10th, Seng used his experience at the Bullring to move into the third spot by the time the checkers flew, transferring to the main event.

Seng started 21st on the grid in what was a field of excellence. Again, using his knowledge and experience, he was able to find his way around the track to finish in a hard-earned eighth place.

As a past champion of the Seitz Memorial, Brad also was involved in the past champions race where he started and finished third.

Though the Wissota 100 will not be run this year, I-94 Sure Step Speedway in Fergus Falls, Minn. will hold the Dick Johanneck King of Dirt special. The No. 12S team will throw their hat in the ring in hopes of taking home the top prize.
