GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 20, 2021) – After collecting another top five last Friday night at River Cities Speedway, Brad Seng and the Northern Late Model Racing Association will appear for the first time in nearly six years to the Sure Step I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN.Seng started his night last week at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks charging from the eighth starting spot all the way up to fourth at the end of his heat race.
It was the WISSOTA Race of Champions qualifier night at the speedway, and Seng re-drew the third starting spot for the main event.
Seng slipped back three spots early in the 20-lap main event but put on a rally towards the midway point, climbing back to fourth on lap eight.
Seng continued to seek the third spot in the remaining laps of the green-white-checkered affair, ending in the fourth spot for the second consecutive week in a race that lasted just over five minutes.
Seng, a sporadic visitor to the Sure Step I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN in the past, will head with the rest of the NLRA Late Models to the three-eighths mile oval for the first time in a half dozen years on Friday night.
Seng ran 11th in 2015, improving from the 16th starting spot at one of the most popular facilities in WISSOTA country.
Friday will be the first of two scheduled visits for the series at I-94 in 2021, as the series will also be part of the Dick Johanneck Memorial on June 5th.
