Mullen Set To Continue His Season At River Cities And Huset’s

By Spieker Promotions

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 17, 2021) – Running sixth in the current River Cities Speedway point standings, and 10th in the season standings at Huset’s Speedway, Brendan Mullen and the 11M crew will head back to both tracks this weekend.

Mullen picked up a pair of top tens at both tracks during NOSA action last weekend.

Friday night at River Cities, Mullen started his night with the third-best qualifying lap and a second place run in his heat race, sending him to the front straightaway for the NOSA redraw.

Brendan drew the eight pill for the 25 lap main event, and wasted no time charging through the field, running well inside the top five after five laps were completed.

Mullen continued his charge, moving past his teammate Wade Nygaard for the final spot on the podium before a red at the halfway point.

On the restart, Mullen continued to move forward, taking second form Shane Roemeling.

Mullen then set his sights on leader Austin Pierce, but a late race slide off the top of the track sent Mullen to the rear of the field.

Mullen did score another top ten, however, ending the race in the ninth position.

On Sunday night, the 11M crew headed back to the Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, SD for another run with the NOSA Sprints.

Mullen kicked off the evening with sixth best lap in qualifying, and a fourth place run in his heat race.

Starting 12th in the final 25 lap feature of the weekend, Mullen slipped back early on in the race, falling to as low as 15th.

Mullen put on a late charge, rebounding to 11th as the field took the white flag, but finished just outside the top ten in the 12th spot.

This weekend, the Mullen Motorsports team will be back in action at River Cities Speedway and Huset’s Speedway!
