Pierce Prepares To Take On The Outlaws Friday Night

By Spieker Promotions

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 3, 2021) – Austin Pierce was in contention for his third victory of the year last Friday night at River Cities Speedway but mechanical woes ended his night early.

This week, Pierce will head back to River Cities to compete with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.

Last Friday night at the Bullring, Pierce started with the third-best qualifying lap and a second place run in his heat race, putting him on the front stretch for the NOSA redraw.

He got the worst pill in the bag, the eight, and started eighth in the 25-lap main event.

He made up ground quickly, however, storming into the top five on the first lap and was looking to move onto the podium a few circuits later, but an injector line broke off and killed the motor of the 2A machine ending his night.

Pierce’s two wins along with the new track record he set at I-90 Speedway two weeks ago will set the 2A team up well heading into Friday night’s run with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.

The entire APR crew would like to thank their sponsors for their continued support!
