GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 3, 2021) – The NLRA Returned to Grand Rapids Speedway last week for the first time since 2010, and for Brad Seng it nearly ended with his first victory of the 2021 campaign, leading laps and scoring a top three finish.
Seng started his evening starting third and finishing second in his heat race, making the redraw and earning a front row starting spot for the 25-lap main event.

Seng shared the front row with rookie, Mike Greseth, at the start and remained within striking distance in the first 10 laps.

As the pair worked through lapped traffic, Seng took the lead near the midway point of the race. Shane Edginton joined the three car war for the top spot, as Seng continued to pace the field.

Greseth got the lead back while the trio continued through traffic, but Seng remained on the podium for the remainder of the race, finishing in the third spot.

On Friday night at River Cities Speedway, Brad went from fifth to fourth in his heat race, setting him up with a 12th place start for the 20-lap feature.

Seng wasted no time climbing into the top-10, as he ran up to ninth by the conclusion of the first two trips around the quarter-mile Bullring.

Seng slipped back to 11th near the halfway point, but went on another charge late, passing a trio of drivers to finish in the eighth spot.

This weekend, Seng will be in action for three nights with the NLRA. First up, the series will co-headline with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at River Cities before heading south on Saturday to run at the Dick Johanneck Memorial at I-94 Speedway. The weekend concludes with the first visit in six year to Buffalo River Speedway in Glyndon, MN.
