Quick time award at River Cities highlights Adams’ busy four-race weekend

REYNOLDS, N.D. (June 24, 2021) – Jordan Adams and the Home of Economy / Alloway No. 20A team continue to make gains each and every week. Adams backed up his second fastest qualifying time with the NOSA Sprints on June 11th at River Cities by going Quick Time last Friday, June 18th at his home track.

After a fourth-place effort in his heat, Adams redrew the pole position for the 25-lap main event.

Adams fought the handle on his machine all race long, but salvaged a ninth-place finish to record his fifth top 10 of the season.

On Sunday, the team made the trip down to Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D. for weekly 410 Sprint Car action, before competing with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at the fast, tricky three-eighths mile oval on Monday and Tuesday for the inaugural Huset’s 50.

“Just the experience of being there was a highlight,” said Adams of competing with the best Sprint Car drivers in the world at one of the premier facilities in the country. “There was so much talent and to be on the same track as some of those people was pretty cool. We got a little better at qualifying and racing so that was a plus.”

This weekend, a lone Friday night event at River Cities Speedway with the Buffalo Wild Wings Northern Outlaw Sprints is on tap.

Adams goes into Friday’s event sitting eighth in the track standings, just 31 points out of the lead. After a solid outing last Friday and making improvements to the car through their three-race stint at Huset’s, Adams is looking forward to getting back behind the wheel at his home track.

“I feel a little more confident but I think we have a lot to prove yet,” he said. “Still looking to put a whole night together so hopefully Friday is the night.”
