Adams comes just shy of three top tens in three nights of NOSA action

REYNOLDS, N.D. (July 14, 2021) – Jordan Adams took the Home of Economy #20A to three races last week, scoring two more top tens at River Cities Speedway, and came just short of his first top ten at Huset’s Speedway last Sunday night.

The week kicked off with two nights of action during the inaugural Wayne Anderson Cup events at River Cities, where Adams continued his hot streak in time trials. Adams set the second-best lap of the night, just seven hundredths of a second from being the quickest.

He parlayed that result into a third place run in his heat, and another trip to the stands for the feature redraw.

Adams remained in and around the top ten throughout the 30 lap feature, coming home with another top ten, finishing tenth.

Friday featured another Anderson Cup event in Grand Forks, where Adams began his night with the eighth-best lap, and another third in his heat.

Adams started the second 30 lapper of the week in the 11th starting spot, but fell back to as low as 14th. Late in the race, however, Adams went on a big charge. Making six passes in the final 15 laps to score an eighth place result.

Adams and the 20A team headed south for another go at Huset’s on Sunday night. Starting 14th in the main event, Adams came close to his first top ten of the year at the tricky Brandon, SD oval, finishing 12th.

“Our weekend overall went okay,” Adams said about his three races last week. “I felt like we had a decent car Friday night. I just made too many mistakes as a driver and cost us a few spots in the middle of the race that I couldn’t really recover from.

Adams is looking forward to another run at River Cities on Friday, saying, “I feel like we have been more competitive the last few races, so I’m eager to get back going Friday. We have been making a few changes to the car that seem to be working, so we will keep on trying our best and hopefully the results get better.”

The Jordan Adams Racing team would like to thank their sponsors for their support.
